Performance: The application which originally motivated the development of this kit was ENG, where the technician would find the convenience of a fully outfitted IFB system in a ready-to-go format helpful in setting up an emergency response remote quickly. The system can run from an existing 24VDC source, a 117VAC source, or from batteries (included). Readiness consists of assuring that the batteries in the battery box and the spare battery compartment are fresh. Every component is capable of withstanding the rigors of being roughly transported and rapidly set up and stowed. Set up is simple and intuitive.
The system consists of a TT-1 miniature IFB system master, 3 TR-1 Talent Receivers, 3 very high quality ear buds, an AC adaptor, a PS-4 power and distribution module, a BB-1 battery box, 3 spare batteries, a short XLR-XLR cable for connecting the master to the distribution module, and a durable road case. The case also provides space for standard microphone cables used to interconnect the distribution module and the talent receivers (cables are not included). See the diagram on page 2. The system can be expanded to as many as 10 talent receivers. All of the system components are also available individually.
