Performance: Designed with ENG and other challenging applications in mind, the DMH220/USB plugs directly into your (notebook) computer's USB port. All the necessary electronics are built into the headset and its cable. No adapters, power supplies or additional cables are necessary. Integrated into the plug is a sound adaptor with a D/A - A/D converter. A headphone amplifier with digital equalizer optimized to the earspeakers and a high performance microphone pre-amplifier are also built in. The DMH220/USB will be recognized immediately by Windows® versions 2000 and onwards and by Mac® G5's+.

Exceptionally high quality transducers provide wide smooth frequency response, reducing the onset of ‘ear fatigue’ for those who must spend many hours wearing headsets. Deep, comfortable ear cushions have excellent external noise exclusion characteristics, and are washable with ordinary dish washing detergent. At 9.9 oz. the DMH220/USB is much lighter than its appearance suggests. The cardioid microphone is mounted on a flexible, steel reinforced boom which can be easily twisted into a comfortable position. The flexible headband is adjustable.

Durability: In the urgent atmosphere of ENG the very best of care cannot always be given to the gear. Because these headsets have only two moving parts, and the microphone boom is flexible rather than hinged, a remarkable degree of durability is achieved. The assembly screws are hidden to prevent tampering. Cable entry is single-sided. These headsets are easily field repairable.
